For ramps, steps, decking,bathrooms or wherever you need to prevent slipping anti-slip tape could be the answer to your problem. There are many types available - different colours and grades.
Heskins offer a huge amount of variety, you can choose the width, shape or colour. The stock colour range is black (four grades), yellow (2 grades), clear (three grades), brown, grey, red, blue, green, white (two grades), black/yellow hazard warning, glow in the dark and hazard glow in the dark. The safety-grip is extremely durable and is ideal for demanding applications, it is a permanent non-slip feature.
Review - I use this tape myself on one of my wheelchair ramps. I have the
standard and course black and have found that it is certainly course enough to provide a
good grip. It is supplied on a roll and is self-adhesive. It is easy to fix.
Heskins also supply pre-cut alluminium plates that can be scewed to decking / steps / stair treads etc. Anti-slip tape can then be applied making it a long lasting, durable method of reducing slipping.
