I have been using e-motions for 18 months now and on the whole have been impressed but over the last 6 months the life of the batteries has rapidly reduced. I have got 2 pairs of batteries and use each pair alternate days therefore each pair has had approx 300 charges each. The battery manual states they should last between 500-1000 charges which mine haven't and I have recently enquired about a new pair to find they are £450 each. The life of them is no where near the stated 10km and I reccomend you turn them off every time you are stationary otherwise they are on standby mode for 30 mins which uses energy. I tried the iglide and was impressed although the chair itself was not open to many features like pushing handles on the back or a higher backrest but as it is new hopefully this will change. Hope you find this good advice, do as much research as possible.
