Well about 2 years ago my name reached the top of the waiting list for a powerchair on the NHS. I had to have tests to make sure my eyesight was good enough, and I was told that due to the size of my flat that a Jazzy would be best.
I have the synergy seating with a tention adjestable back, but when I'm having a back day, no seating is any relief. This chair is great, it does just under 5mph and can climb kerbs up to 3". Once you get used to the chair 'tipping' forward when you stop it's okay, and I have managed to find the best setting for the anti-tip wheels. They can go higher, but they're high enough for me. The distance is supposed to be 15 mils per charge, but I've never done that in a day, but I have gone through one pair of batteries already.
I love the fact that the charger is built into the chair, although this makes it bulky but seeing as we don't have a car it's rarely a problem. The other feature I like is the Penny & Giles locking. It comes in really handy when you have your friends 18 month daughter on your lap, who has worked out which button to press to switch on the chair, and which button is the horn.
