Hi all
Well where does one start.
Firsly I am new to these computers, and only on here due to my husband getting me on before he left for work, so don't expect to many postings.
I first saw the PT on tommorows World 3 years ago, and then went wow, but thought what a shame that like so many new inventions, it will never reach the market place.
How wrong I was. I was recomended it by a friend of a friend who had bought one of the first batch from his local dealer.
I instantly tracked one down, or rather my husband did. I have now owned it for the best part of three years, and must have traveled about 3 miles a day back and forward to school x 4, so must have totalled 2000 - 3000 miles.
To say this is the by far the best invesment that I have ever made, would be an understatement.
IT HAS TRANSFORMED MY LIFE, AND NO AMOUNT OF MONEY COULD EVER MAKE ME GIVE MY PT UP. What price can you put on freedom.
My PT has gone with me everywhere around the World, on planes trains and even boats, without any problems.
As I live by the beach, it has been a godsend for use on the sand, (where it is not to deep).
I have read many of the posting on the forum, and the main topic's have been about batteries, and service.
Well I have two children most of thier toys run on batteries, and yes they run out, however one of my children goes through batteries like there is no tommorow, and is a complete knightmare in this respect, my other child seems to make thiers last forever, I put this down to how they treat them.
My husband takes care of my batteries, as I think I would be like the desciption of my first child.
When I first got my trike I was getting on average 12-15 miles, over a long period of time that decreased to about 5 miles. Since having replacement cells, I was back up to 12-15 miles. "Not bad 1 new set in three years".
I am considering the new SAFT battery, as now my children are getting older they wish to go on longer cycle rides, and the batteries will need replacing in the near future.
Now for the service that I have recieved from pdq.
My PT has never let me down in the 3 years that I have had it, except on the 3 occasions in which I have personally broken it, "well me twice and my husband once". on 2 of the 3 times it was the left hand break lever. We contacted pdq, via the dealer we purchased it from, they were very helpfull, and came out instantly to fix it.
The second time this happend they sent one out in the post that night, as my husband was confident that he could do it.
The 3rd time is was fixed via a phone call.
PDQ have always been very very helpfull, they have always been forth comming in giving me help and information, I have never had any problems in contacting them, and they have always rang me back when asked.
Keep up the good work from a very satisfied customer.
WELL DONE PDQ
PS my friend has never had any problems with his PT or PDQ either.

I have tried all sorts of things ie electric chairs, scooters ect, but this has been by far the best, giving me accesss to places that I could not manage before. My husband also benefits from the weight being less and it is a lot easier to put into our camper.
It is early days yet and the batteries were not new, although I brought new batteris just incase I didnot need to use them. The furthiest we managed was abouth 10 miles and I have done easily 11 miles an hour.
I cannot manage to put it together, and I had two punctures which was a nuiscence. I have a liberty wheelchair which is recomended for a PDQ.
