Pride Legend Classic XL8

Many thanks to tornaway for this review!!

Plus Points

Strong sturdy construction, will take a 25 stone fatty like me with ease, battery life is good and the seat very comfortable.

Very good on grass and gravel paths, all in a resonable reliable outdoor buggy.

Negative Points

Suspension is far too stiff, in fact it feels like no suspension, this makes it unstable if you ever have to cross a road with an adverse camber, it feels as though it will tip over.

Only other problem is it's kerb climbing ability, it can really only manage a 2" kerb with any degree of stability.

Comments

Would I buy another one? at full price no, but if a good 2/hand one came along and knowing it's limitations then for reliability and strngth yes.

It's a big scooter with good power and has proven reliable with no major problems, on a smooth surface it's extreemly comfortable but on an unmade road the suspension lets it down.
