Stewart at youreable provided a mini review -

Hi,

I have a rascal 600T scooter which I have had for a year now and I would recommend to anyone of weight I myself am 23 stone.

In addition I have found the 3 wheeler to be far more manouverable that the four wheelers and it has always been stable. Recently I have had put on a solid tyre at the front as I had a puncture and it's quite difficult to change.

I carry it when required to do so in my 206 sw, after removing the scooter seat to reduce the total height. I don't undertake any further disassembly other than to fold the 60 split seat so we still have three seats in the car.

The rascal 600T has been my main mode of transport for the last year, whilst trying it out and others prior to purchase I found that this model carried my weight and baggage well at a reasonable speed.

In addition I found that I could turn around in a simple u-turn manouvere at slow speed. The similar 4-wheelers I tried had poor turning in confined spaces and were uncomfortable on my feet positioning.

Recently I changed the front tyre to a solid one as I found it difficult to check the pnumatic one. The main difference is that the front is now very solid but the rear is still very comfortable. I also have the middle size chair as the standard was tight for me.

The small stabliser wheels are a great comfort and I have fellt them touch the ground and then support the scooter from leaning any further.

Top speed is four miles per hour and I find that this is generally fast enough for me, although a litle faster for road use might have been better. I can generally get through doors my self by proceeding at slow speed and using maximum turns.

Hope this helps.

Stewart.
