I have stayed here many times and it is a lovely hotel with courteous staff. It is accessible for wheelchairs but none of the hotel bathrooms are disabled friendly - i.e. normal baths and toilets. Still, a lovely place to stay when in the Lake District

Again, a lovely hotel with courteous staff. It is accessible for wheelchairs but none of the hotel bathrooms are disabled friendly - i.e. normal baths and toilets. The entrance is a bit awkward but they are due for a refurb in spring 2006. Excellent food!

I haven't stayed here but it sure looks nice!

''Best hotel I know in London for wheelchair users is the Copthorne Tara London Kensington'' - Jane form yourable.

moira from youreable says - We have stopped at Formula One on the outskirts of Falkirk. This is the basic of basic hotels (£23 approx for a room sleeping 3 people) but for an overnight stop it is very good for a user of a wheelchair. No rooms have en suite but there is a special shower room/toilet for a disabled person with a roll-in shower, extra wide doorway and grab rails as required. We can recommend it. Although VERY basic it is clean and the staff are extremely helpful. A buffet breakfast is available at £2.50 and represents good value for money. There are two restaurants very close for evening meals.

This is a lovely hotel located in the centre of Buxton, Derbyshire. Although none of the rooms are specifically adapted for disabled people the ones I have stayed in were spacious and I had no problems maneuvering my electric wheelchair. The corridors are wide and the restaurants are very accessible - the food was great!. There is a lift in the hotel. The staff are courteous and very helpful. There are only a few disabled parking spaces avaiable so it is worth asking for one to be reserved before you arrive. Wheelchair access is located next to the health club at the left side of the hotel. The Palace Gardens are only a few minutes away from the hotel and are a lovely place to visit.
